It should come as no surprise that Zanzibar's cuisine offers a bewildering array of aromas, flavours and textures. The island's position has brought visitors from other lands since time immemorial - Persia, China, Arabia, India and others - who have all sailed their vessels into Zanzibar's harbour over the centuries, bent on trade and sometimes plunder. And with these strange visitors came new ways of eating - heaps of glass noodles from China, sweetmeats from Arabia, spices from India... Zanzibar's cuisine, like its culture and language, is a mix of ingredients from all over the world.
Dining Experience
The seafront restaurant is situated right on the beach where you will enjoy its sublime atmosphere, delicious local specialties and a genuine fusion-style a la carte menu.
Vegetarian options and a kid’s menu are available, and special meals can be arranged with 24h notice. B&B, half board and full board options are available.
Weddings, incentive groups and special occasions can gladly be hosted on request.
